Hospitality is in Soraya's genes. In 1993 she graduated
from FIU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality
Management- following her vision of many years.
In October of 2000, Soraya finally realized a lifelong
dream of building a stand alone building specially designed
for social events. She is completely dedicated to her
clients, fulfilling every whim and desire and guiding
them thru the planning of their very special event.
Her partner and mother, Aida has been there since the
company’s inception and is a major contributor
to their success.
In her free time Soraya loves to spend time with family
& friends, as well as traveling. She loves the outdoors and one day hopes to travel
the world.

Founded by her late husband, Alfredo Huguet, Tropicana
Fiestas was the founding company which opened in 1987.
In the year 2000 Aida helped her partner and daughter
open up Reception Palace Ballrooms, the newest stand
alone banquet facility in South Florida.
Working side by side they have contributed to the grand
